Jerrod Dastrup

Jerrod Dastrup is the principal at Snow Canyon Middle School in St. George, Utah. He is passionate about the PLC at Work® process and specializes in motivating and supporting teachers and administrators in the areas of PLC, RTI, school culture, and data analysis. He has served as principal at both the elementary and middle school levels for more than 10 years and received the 2014–15 Administrator of the Year award in Carbon County School District 1. Under his leadership, Uinta Meadows Elementary implemented the PLC at Work process and has been recognized as a Model PLC at Work school. It has also been certified as a Marzano High Reliability School.

Prior to becoming a principal, Jerrod was a physical education teacher and coach. A former collegiate basketball player, he earned an associate’s degree from Southwestern Oregon Community College, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas Permian Basin, and a master’s degree from Southern Oregon University.
