Brad Rogers

Brad Rogers is currently the principal at Lincoln Elementary School in Merrillan, Wisconsin. He has been an educator for 25 years as a teacher and instructional leader, specializing in helping rural schools implement collaborative processes. Brad was formerly a classroom teacher for 16 years, as well as an athletic coach. For 13 of his 16 years, he had the opportunity to serve his colleagues as a union representative in the roles of contract maintenance chairperson and lead master agreement negotiator.

Brad had the honor of leading Lincoln Elementary’s students, staff, and community to become the first Model PLC at Work® school in the state of Wisconsin at the elementary level. This was due in part to closing large achievement gaps in reading and math. At the state level, the professional learning community at Lincoln Elementary was designated as a Wisconsin Title I School of Recognition eight out of the last nine years.

Brad earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in professional development from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. He also completed his principal’s certification from Viterbo University.
